Groundswell Giving

I have been an environmental advocate and climate activist for some time. I try to bring about positive change through the way I vote, lobby politicians by writing emails, make phone calls and hit the streets to join protest marches. Finally, just recently, I became a proud member of GROUNDSWELL GIVING - a giving circle created in response to the climate crisis, accelerating action and supporting solutions by funding strategic, high-impact climate advocacy in Australia.

HOW IT WORKS

Members pitch in $20 per week or $1000 per year, and four times a year, we all vote on and deliver $80,000+ grant rounds to people and organisations tackling the climate crisis. The more members that join, the more grants we can make. 100% of donations are tax deductible, and 100% of donations go directly to climate action grants.

If, like me, you're worried about Climate Change and feel helpless and don't know what to do or how to help - just support GROUNDSWELL GIVING in their advocacy work.

This year is a critical one and we all must rise to the challenge and do our bit. We need to support those that are really doing some solid work in this area. I've been wanting to become a member for a while now and have finally taken the step. There's a lot all of us can do to be the change we want to see in the world.
